Make America Employed Again

It started with that infamous Carrier deal back in November that secured 1100 jobs remaining in Indiana. Of course the mainstream Left and Right chastised Trump for HOW he went about it: tax incentives. Here’s the logic. The mainstream demonizes Mr. Trump for giving “the dirty corporations” incentives to remain in America. They make it seem as if he is allowing them to rip us off from revenue. They are absolutely lying to you and they know it, or they are stupid. The 7 million dollar tax incentive for Carrier is an investment not a handout that will generate a return of keeping the jobs in America. This brings in a RETURN FOR THE INVESTMENT! Employees will more than compensate for that 7 million dollars over the long term since they pay federal income taxes. This is opposed to letting these companies leave and we get nothing. This same type of negotiation, when necessary, will be replicated in countless scenarios: when the corporate tax rate reduction from 35 to 15 percent isn’t enough. After this initial deal was struck, everyone discounted it as meaningless. However, it was only the start of a much larger wave of jobs returning or remaining in the country. Here are some of the brand new deals made and pending to bring thousands of more jobs back:

Trump struck a deal with Japanese billionaire Masa. Son to invest 50 billion dollars in the US creating 50,000 jobs.

Trump, in an interview with The New York Times last week, said he has spoken to Apple CEO Tim Cook about building a new plant in the U.S. instead of in places such as Vietnam or China.  He said in the same interview he had also received a call from Microsoft CEO Bill Gates but did not go into detail about what was discussed.

Chairman Bill Ford told Trump that the automaker will not be moving production of Lincolns out of Kentucky to Mexico, in what is seen as a sign that the company aims to work with the new administration on keeping jobs in America.

Ford (F) CEO Mark Fields said the investment is a “vote of confidence” in the pro-business environment being created by Donald Trump. Ford is canceling plans to build a new plant in Mexico. It will invest $700 million in Michigan instead, creating 700 new U.S. jobs.

President-elect Donald Trump said had a “great meeting” with Alibaba executive chairman Jack Ma on Monday, when they were scheduled to discuss plans to create 1 million new U.S. jobs over the next five years.

These are small accomplishments on a larger scale, but the point is that this man is not even in office yet and he has secured tens of thousands of jobs FOR the American people. Imagine what his administration will be able to do when they take office January 20. We look forward to the time and hard work they will dedicate to bringing back jobs by the millions.
