The Sanctity Of Life

I would normally present a full analysis of the final debate, but everyone pretty much understands what happened. Trump cited the corruption evidence provided by Wikileaks and Clinton would blame the Russians. There are so many issues in this election and the world at large. Abortion has largely taken a back seat as it should since it is a social issue, but it is still a very important one that was mentioned in the debate. Ever since the debate it has been on my mind. The irony that women seek to objectify their unborn children as fetuses, while also fighting their own objectification by men. I really hate to blend theological and political posts together; however it is inevitable and necessary at times. We are a nation of Christians whether you want to accept it or not. Our values as a nation are Christian except for when they are changed for “progress.” Even still, I believe I can still prove with Christian principles AND science that abortion is murder and wrong.

The Leftist ideology has dominated the science community unfortunately. That’s why many minds of Americans are tainted with the “facts” of evolution, global warming, and abortion. I’ve dispelled the previous two in earlier posts so if you are still unclear, refer to “My Final Refutation” and “Letter To Sam Part 1.” The Left and their scientists believe that life does not begin until you are born. Here are the real facts though. Life begins at conception. A child has a heartbeat at 18 days, brainwaves at 6 weeks, fingerprints at 14 weeks, and can FEEL PAIN at 9 weeks. These are definitely signs of life. Also the fact that a baby can survive outside of the womb past 21 weeks is also another sign. But yet Hillary Clinton and the Democrats support abortions in the second and third trimester. The Left won’t ever mention that because it’s counterproductive to their agenda. Just like they will not say that ALL of the planets are heating proving that the current warming trend is not man-made. Just like they will not say that there is only evidence for micro-evolution and that macro-evolution is merely speculation.

I thank God that abortion has been on a steady decline since the 1980s when 30 out of every 1000 children were aborted. Here is the sad problem statistically. Nearly 90% of abortions are committed because the mother claims she does not have the money or is not ready for the responsibility in some manner. About 10% are due to medical reasons, rape, and incest. The Left always wants to use to 10% to justify the 90%. Even still, there is no justification. It is a difficult choice to make when we are talking about the exceptions. When it comes to rape and incest, I cite this verse: Do not “do evil that good may come.” –Romans 3:8. Killing the child is murder: evil. As Christians, we know that the Lord would provide for that child. For those mothers who are financially incapable of supporting the child, adoption services would happily place the child in a foster home. For when the life of the mother is in danger, the answer is attempting to save both lives and let the outcome play out. Remember that this is a judgment call made in RARE occasions.

We are reaping the consequences of our transgressions by slaughtering unborn children. 60 million babies have been aborted in the US since Roe v. Wade. That is why our social security program is about to go bankrupt because we are lacking a substantial wave of young people that would be paying into the system. You wonder why our average population age is increasing. That is not to mention the amount of taxes they would be paying all together. The emotional impact of having an abortion is larger than what you may realize. Many mothers and fathers feel the pain that they put their child through later in life with regretful sorrow. Just to give an example in China, a country that aborts millions of female babies, their ratio of men to women is 130:100. That has led to rampant homosexuality in China. They have the highest percentage of gay men in the world of 1 in 6 men. This is where I laugh at the Left’s efforts to say that homosexuality is genetic. Give me a break you fools.

To close, the solutions are very simple. Do not have a child until you are ready. If you have sex unprotected, protected, or with birth control and the lady ends up pregnant, then take responsibility. Every child created is meant to be here, whether you intended or not. The Lord determines who lives and who dies, not us. Again adoption is a wonderful program if you cannot handle the burdens of parenting. Trust that the child will be provided for. I will end with what the Lord says about the unborn:

Jeremiah 1:5 – Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you

Psalms 139:13-16 – For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

  2. Mmmmm. I totally agree with that life begins at conception. I don’t agree that we are a Christian nation. Our nation was founded upon Christian principles, but unlike the Jews who were a nation chosen by God, the USA is comprised of Christians and non-Christians. We have been phenomenally blessed by our beginnings, though. Also, I’m not so certain whether global warming is a farce. I am by no stretch of the imagination scientifically inclined, but I don’t see any reason to rule it out. What’s the down side?

Thank you for the comment! I’m just saying we are a nation largely of Christians. But the downside is the draconian regulations that the EPA seek to impose on our industries which costs our economy a lot of money for no good reason. Some regulation is good but others are completely unnecessary.

      1. I agree we can over regulate, and our government has done so.

  4. Thank you Lawson. 60 million babies , makes my heart hurt so bad!! Potentially adoptive parents long for babies, and yet others slaughter them right and left. God is going to judge our nation for this.

Thank you for posting this. I am not sure if you’ve read most off my posts but one definitely deals with my having an abortion, my mental state, the consequences as a result, and now passion to fight it. God is the Giver and the Taker of life…not us mere mortals. The reason I took my child’s life, period point blank, is not a good enough reason to God. I was selfish and afraid of what people would think. I didn’t have enough money but I did when it came to something I wanted.
I wished I’d made a better decision then, but I didn’t and even in my extraordinary sin to Christ, it’s been a blessing. I’ve helped countless women make better decisions based off of what I’ve been through as an example of what not to do.

America was built on Christian foundation and we are predominantly a Christian country who’s lost sight of its direction like the prodigal son. He had to go through some things due to his decisions and he learned from them and when he went home, he was welcomed with open arms. America is the same, dealing with consequences of actions. But God is also the same, like any father who loves his child, He loves us enough to discipline, however He sees fit, even through wandering aimlessly, but yet welcomes us back with loving open arms.

I thank you for making it clear.

I appreciate your comment very much. I am sorry that you have been through this situation. I do not judge you for it since I am far from perfect. I need Jesus as my lawyer before God just as much as anyone. I am glad that you have learned from your mistake and have helped prevent others from making it. America does need to be set straight for sure and I hope it happens soon! God bless you and have a wonderful day. Continue to show His love to others
